Türkiye Set to Become Regional New Wind Energy Hub | Wind Energy Hamburg
The Wind Energy Hamburg Conference and Fair annual event brings together international onshore and offshore wind energy industry members. Held in September of each year, this year’s conference was particularly significant, with the motto “It’s time to put climate first.” Over 1,400 exhibitors from around the world gathered at the meeting to showcase their latest technologies, products, and services for optimizing the production and use of wind power. Additionally, more than 35,000 visitors attended to learn about cutting-edge developments and connect with fellow industry professionals.
Minister Dönmez made the opening speech of the pavilion by saying that Turkey is Europe’s fifth-largest wind equipment manufacturer and market leader in blade production. He continued, “Today, we are becoming even more reliable as a natural gas supply security supplier and renewable energy fields like winds.”
The Turkish government is promoting its wind power industry by highlighting how it has become an attractive investment spot for companies worldwide.
“Today, Turkish companies manufacture and export turbine blades to 45 countries,” said Minister Varank during his speech. Showing how Turkey has become an engaging investment location for many international businesses because of its so proximity and less shipping time

More than 30 companies attended WindEnergy Hamburg, connecting with government officials and industry leaders from around the globe with global wind industry planners, enabling them to showcase their latest products and technologies in a highly conducive environment. By attending WindEnergy Hamburg, these companies gained an edge in today’s fast-paced market and laid the foundation for success in tomorrow’s competitive landscape.
